FAQs
What is a Triple Challenge?
We have replaced the typical bike/run/swim triathlon with a bootcamp event. This is a fun, non competitive event designed to give you a taste of a sprint triathlon.
We will have a live DJ to help hype you up for the days events! Thank you DJ JAMES CHAISSON!
Do I have to participate in all three events?
YOU PICK! This is a TRIPLE CHALLENGE, so you can chose your ANY of the three events. BIKE, RUN/WALK, BOOTCAMP, and or YOGA!
We do encourage you to consider dusting off your bike and trying the 3 or 5mile portion! You will surprise yourself, its FUN, and you can do it! This 5mile course has a gradual slow incline up Clinton Street and then a nice flat ride through St Paul's Campus and back onto Pleasant Street. The 3 mile portion turns right onto Langley and then back to Pleasant Street. Or create your own bike/5K course! 10mile run goes into Dunbarton along the 89 bike path and down Hopkinton Road.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Our event is family friendly, although children need to be 8+ year old to participate in the bike portion. The 5K walk/run is open to any age. Children under 10 are free. Children ages 10-15 are $15.00 and includes race day shirt. 16+ pay adult price which includes race day shirt, 5.00 gift cards to Live Juice and 15% off at Runners Alley and MORE!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is parking at Memorial Field, inside the parking lot and along the adjacent streets
What can I bring into the event?
If you are participating in the bike event, you MUST bring your helmet and we encourage a water bottle for your bike.
WE ASK THAT YOU KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM OTHERS AT ALL TIMES. The staggered times will limit total participants at any given time.
Please leave any valuables at home.
What happens after I finish the events:
Live events post race is still in progress due to the COVID pandemic.
Please pack your own snacks/water for the event. There are race day raffles TBD. We will notify you via email if you have won any of these amazing prizes!
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please email Renee Plodzik at [email protected].
What's the refund policy?
Refunds are not available. We do understand that circumstances arise that may cause you to forfeit your registration fee. Please know that 100% of the proceeds benefit cancer survivors in the Concord Community and we appreciate your support. Please contact the race director with questions at [email protected]
