Pumpkin Festival

ENJOY THE CRISP AUTUMN AIR, AND JACK-O-LANTERNS, EVERYWHERE!

A tradition that began in 1991, the Keene community comes together every October to have some fun and to carve thousands of pumpkins.  Main Street is closed to cars, and everyone joins in the spirit of togetherness with food, games, and the spectacle of pumpkins as far as the eye can see. In 2013, volunteers helped carve over 30,581 pumpkins, breaking the Guinness World Record for the most lit jack-o-lanterns. While the scale has dialed back in recent years, there is no shortage of glowing jack-o-lanterns to light up the autumn evening.

The 2024 Keene Pumpkin Festival will be on October 12th at 2pm.
