The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC) invites creators of all ages to design and build original LEGO sculptures and display them at the Museum in BMAC’s 14th Annual LEGO Contest & Exhibit, taking place November 11 through 14.
LEGO Contest & Exhibit entries must be delivered to BMAC on Monday, November 8, 4–6 p.m. The online entry form must be submitted before drop-off, including a $5 entry fee. Contest guidelines and entry forms are available at brattleboromuseum.org. Participants may call BMAC at 802-257-0124, ext. 101, with any questions.
BMAC will display every entry submitted to the contest. The LEGO creations will be on view from Thursday, November 11, through Sunday, November 14, 10–4 daily. Admission to the Museum during that time is pay-as-you-wish. If you’d like to make a reservation ahead of time, you may do so at brattleboromuseum.org/visit. Masks and social distancing are required.
The virtual Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 10, at 5:30 p.m. A panel of judges will award prizes based on creativity and craftsmanship in six age groups: preschool, grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, adult, and adult/child collaborations. Other prizes will be awarded at the judges’ discretion. Every contestant will receive a personalized certificate of participation.
