Western Mass band Christa Joy & the Honeybees serves up twangy Americana with songs ranging from classic honky-tonk to gospel-tinged country ballads. Joy's third album, "Get On, Heart!" was released to a sold-out Parlor Room in 2019. In 2022 the band recorded a new collection of songs at Sleeper Cave Records (Haydenville, MA), a live studio album set to be released in 2023.
Members: Christa Joy, Lisa Marie Ellingsen, Matt Medeiros, Brian Marchese and Timothy Bowles.
The Paper City Picture Show is a folk music project growing from the mouth and mind of Lea Chiara, a singer/songwriter who grew up in the rich music scene of western Massachusetts. She spins soulful story-songs and boot-stomping, waltzy vignettes about her travels, heartbreaks and triumphs, which are brought to life by the many colorful layers of Anna Feldman on vocal harmonies, Vernon David on cello, Paige Riddering on clarinet and Ethan Schmid on drums.
Doors are at 7pm and music will begin sometime between 730 and 8. Seating is first come first served!
