Comedy Night featuring: Toni Nagy / Ish Gupta / Ben Pratt

Nova Arts is pleased to begin presenting stand up comedy, hosted by our friend Leanne Horvath. Toni Nagy is a stand-up comic that’s quasi–radical, somewhat-existential, and mostly funny. Her comedy is like an acid trip, but with equal opportunity genital jokes. She’s also a writer, film-maker, sketch comedy creator, and co-dependent. Toni has written/edited/directed/ and acted in over 50 sketch comedy videos that together have upwards of 1.5 million views. In 2017 she won the “Best New Talent” award at the Broadway Comedy Club in NYC and again in April 2019. Her stand up was also an official selection at the “Palm Springs International Comedy Festival,” as well as the “Boston Collective Film Festival.” She performs all over New York City and the New England area and is the founder the production company www.cavelightproductions.com Ish Gupta is a comedian from Newtown, CT, who regularly performs at venues all over New England. He has a variety of strange stories coupled with dark (yet playful!) observations about this funny thing we call life. He can probably do it without swearing too if you need that sort of thing. His hair can be whatever you want. Like most magicians that you see today, Ben Pratt fell in love with magic at a very young age. He grew up in the very small town of Stoddard, New Hampshire with a population of less than 1,300 people. Far away from any big city or access to any magical props. However, that never stopped him from living his dream of performing this mysterious art. At the young age of 7, Ben saw his favorite magician David Copperfield saw himself in half on television. From that point on, Ben's perspective of life was flipped upside down. Today at age 33, Ben has left audiences amazed wherever he goes. He has performed all over New England including Gillette Stadium and Mohegan Sun Casino. Even a few spots on television! From the moment he walks into a room ready to perform, to the moment he leaves he will ALWAYS leave people begging for more. Don't hesitate to see Ben perform. This guy is one to remember!
