Drive-Thru Holiday Light Display

Draft Gratitude, a nonprofit draft horse rescue in Winchester, New Hampshire is hosting “The Holiday Hoof”, a drive-thru holiday light display.  The event is open to everyone, there is no admission fee being charged, however donations are welcome. The Holiday Hoof will be open December 17^th – 23^rd.   The display is open from 5pm- 9pm and is located at 148 Ashuelot Street in Winchester, NH. The event will benefit the senior draft horses by raising funds for hay, grain, veterinary expenses, and any other needs. Rebecca Roy, founder of Draft Gratitude, says that there is an endless supply of aged draft horses that need a safe landing.  “We are thrilled to have our community join us to enjoy the lights, have the chance to learn about work we are doing, all while finding a little extra holiday spirit.” Draft Gratitude, established in 2014, is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted draft horses. Once rescued, the draft horses are rehabilitated and will either be available for adoption or stay in sanctuary at the 23-acre farm.
