Electric Earth Concerts presents the Verona Quartet

Electric Earth Concerts presents the Verona Quartet on Sunday, July 40 at 4 pm, at the Town House in Peterborough, NH. Since appearing at EEC in 2014, the Verona Quartet has ascended to national prominence, and is the Quartet-in-Residence at Oberlin Conservatory. Their return to NH is celebrated at Peterborough’s spacious Town House., and the program includes Mozart’s Quartet in E-flat K.160, the String Quartet No. 4 of Grazyna Bacewicz, and Verdi’s sole work in the genre, the dramatic String Quartet in E minor. The ensemble’s “vibrant, intelligent” (The New York Times) performances emanate from the spirit of storytelling; the Quartet believes that this transcends genre, and the name “Verona” pays tribute to William Shakespeare, one of the greatest storytellers of all time.
