"First Look: Three World Premieres"

In its first show of the 2025 season, The Edge Ensemble Theatre Company will present three original one-act plays at The Edge Theater, 310 Marlboro Street, Suite 112, Keene. Performances will be at 7:30 PM on February 21, 22, 27, 28 and March 1, and at 2:00 PM on February 23 and March 2. Refuse, by Meg Wiles, is an unconventional tragi-comedy written in the absurdist style. It explores big topics, including identity, self vs. family, and humanity's relationship to the environment. The cast comprises Scott Rodenhauser, Bridget McBride, Veronica Stevens, and Grace Johnson and is directed by Lionel Chute. A Career Change, by Brian Marsh, is a comedy about a man of 60-ish looking to change his career direction. It is directed by Rob Gray and features Taryn Fisher, Joshua Goldstein and Damien Licata. CUFFED Plus, by G. Sherman H. Morrison, is a whimsical comedy that follows a man experiencing a strange night of bizarre twists. It is directed by Kim Dupuis and stars Kenzie Wood and Andrew Bosworth Tickets are $18 general admission, $15 for seniors and students. Tickets must be purchased at the door by cash or check.
