Keene State College Orchestra

The KSC Orchestra performs on various musical instruments, including especially stringed instruments of the viol class, Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion. The KSC Orchestra’s repertoire ranges from classic composers and works to new music, and its programming is dedicated to expanding representation in orchestral programming. Although applied to various ensembles found in Western and non-Western music, orchestra in an unqualified sense usually refers to the typical Western music ensemble of bowed stringed instruments complemented by wind and percussion. The orchestra also has the privilege of serving as an ensemble to train student conductors enrolled in the Assistant Conductor Practicum. Experienced musicians, students, faculty, and community members who are committed to our ensemble’s goal of excellence are welcome. Join us for what will surely be a grand night! KSC students will need to obtain their complimentary tickets in person at the Box Office rather than ordering online.
