Meet the Author: Matthew McElligott

Matthew McElligott is the author of Backbeard: Pirate for Hire, the Mad Scientist Academy series, Benjamin Franklinstein Lives, and many more funny, adventurous books. The Mad Scientist series actually inspired the first Mad Scientist activities at our library! Hear about his writing style, ask him questions, and join him in a fun drawing activity. If you’ve ever wanted to talk to a real-life author, this is an event you shouldn’t miss! The event will be held via Zoom, with limited in-person attendance for those who wish to join the Zoom event together at the library using Henrietta, our Meeting Owl. Thanks to the generosity of the author, individual donors, and a grant from Millipore Sigma, each participant will be given a signed copy of one of the author’s books to keep! Registration required.
