Splendid Torch w/ Dinger

Massachusetts-based band Splendid Torch dwells in spontaneity and synthesis, conjuring an unexpectedly broad sound. Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Lily Sexton (lead vocals, fiddle, guitar), Sean Davis (acoustic & electric guitar, vocals), Karl Helander (percussion) and Josh Ballard (bass), Splendid Torch calls on textured lyricism, collective rhythmic feel, & poignant vocal performances that evoke their varied influences, ranging from George Harrison to Emmylou Harris, The Band to John Hartford. Dinger makes music about inanimate objects, wild animals and obscure emotional states. Beginning as the lofi home recording project of Seth Blake and Adria Bregani ~ 2019, Dinger has evolved through 2020’s Meals Ready-to-Eat EP and 2023’s Dreaming can be taken lying down and now includes guitarist Tom Lusted (Zero Front) and multi- instrumentalist / producer Rory Hurley (Party of the Sun, Youngest Sun).
