For the past many years, musician/songwriter Thalia Zedek has remained squarely in the centre of the alternative musical zeitgeist while simultaneously flying just below the radar of the general public. 2021 just might see that elusiveness ending, as a torrent of career spanning material, both old and new will be released and reissued on numerous labels. This show will be the first TZ show post-pandemic, and also the first in support of the new album “Perfect Vision”.

Effortlessly weaving genres of music together, the authentic and unique style is best described as Psychedelic Folk-Soul. Dark poetry, storytelling, and deep vocal croons find their home in a beautiful musical setting, including hints of progressive rock that push the boundaries of the most heartfelt writing. Illustrating a heavy human condition, the depths of alcoholism and recovering, and the turmoil of living with depression and PTSD, Tyler’s sound really transcends comparisons to even the most esteemed folks (Steve Gunn, Incredible String Band, PG Six), and remains something wholly his own.
