Event Details

Vampire Bird is the result of a ten year collaboration between New England based songwriters and musicians Will Kindler and Scott Lumsden, who together have been writing and recording since a chance meeting in 2014. With a large body of work difficult to replicate live as a two piece, the band was joined beginning in 2024 by talented multi-percussionist Rick Carr with the intention to finish and release their collaborative efforts, as well as take the project live to the stage. Influences have included Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison, Edith Piaf and Joanna Newsom with a harder driving undercurrent reminiscent of early T-Rec, Radiohead and a bit of Joy Division. Eamon Fogarty is a New York City-based singer-songwriter, multi-disciplinary artist, and audio archivist who was born in New Hampshire. Aquarium Drunkard described his 2019 record Blue Values as "a remarkable piece of art-pop, exhibiting the low slung ease of Tim Buckley’s jazz-rock, the shambolic grace of Beck, the progressive grandeur of Scott Walker, and the mystic yearning of Talk Talk." Mimi Fang is a Brattleboro, VT based singer songwriter who creates a listening experience that pulls you both into her world and also a little deeper into your own. Best categorized as Folk Punk though walking the line in a way that feels decidedly distinct from either end of the mixed genre spectrum - Mimi writes songs that are raw, honest, and quite often more than a little head bopping. Doors are at 7pm and music will start at 730 sharp! Seating is first come first served. All Ages!
