Max. 10 participants. Six spaces available.
Let the winter weather do the work of growing the native plants you want! Grow enough to use and share with friends.
Come discover the best practice details of how to sow native perennials such as Butterfly Milkweed, Common Milkweed, Great Blue Lobelia and Joe Pye, to name just a few, in one-gallon or 1/2 gallon plastic jugs.
I'll bring several types of native, perennial flower seeds from my demonstration gardens, soil, water, and duct tape. You bring your own favorite, native perennial seeds if you like as well as a single, clean, plastic, 1-gallon milk, ,juice or water jug.
We’ll walk together through a step-by-step process that creates your first of many future containers of native plant seedlings! With some protection and minimum fuss, your native flower seedlings will be ready to go this spring. You can use, share, and swap these plants with friends who are also creating native pollinator gardens!
Call with questions 603-313-9153 Fee by donation. SPACE IS LIMITED TO THOSE THAT RSVP.
