About this event

Nova Arts is pleased to begin presenting stand up comedy, hosted by our friend Leanne Horvath. This comedy event contains adult content and strong language. Originally hailing from San Francisco, CA, Caitlin Peluffo is a comedian currently living in Brooklyn, NY. After a brief six year stint in art school where she studied performative video art (no, really…that’s a thing) she has expanded her talents to the stage. Peluffo has opened for comedians like Maria Bamford, Gilbert Gottfried, Gary Gulman, Colin Quinn, and the late Kevin Meany. She’s been featured everywhere from New York Comedy Club in the Big Apple to clubs nationwide talking about how she came to be such a lovable loose cannon. Born in Atlanta, GA, matured in San Francisco, and now residing in New York City, Jill Weiner is a comedian and writer. Jill recently participated in the Come and Take it Festival in Houston, TX, placed second in the Trial by Laughter comedy festival, and has performed at the Boston Comedy Festival. She co-produces and co-hosts a weekly, standing-room-only comedy show in Manhattan called Lap Dance Saloon with her pal Jefffrey Emerson, and she is the first female champion of the New York City based roast battle, Comedy Fight Club. She also produces and co-hosts the hilarious and informative podcast, WikiFreakz with her confidant Connor Creagan. Tom Spohn is a new, young comic. He started in Manchester, NH, and in the past few years has performed all around New England. He's got a sketch and standup show called With Friends Online available on Youtube. You can follow him at @thomaszspohn on Instagram and Twitter.
