Electric Earth Concerts is delighted to present David Breitman, fortepiano, on Monday, August 2 at 7:30 pm at the Townhouse in Peterborough. In addition to mostly Mozart, he will perform works by Haydn and C.P.E. Bach.
One of America’s premier exponents of the historical piano brings his characteristic mix of intellect, virtuosity and poetry to a program of classical repertoire. Breitman performed Schubert’s song cycle, Winterreise with baritone Thomas Meglioranza for EEC in 2019, and was acclaimed baritone Sanford Sylvan’s long-time collaborator. Breitman directs the Historical Performance Program at Oberlin’s Conservatory of Music.
