Immerse yourself in the sounds and sensations of a summer evening as we play and explore in a sweet flowing yoga practice on the Harris Center grounds. Sync movement with breath, refresh your mind, and lighten up your day. Variations will be offered to suit beginners and seasoned yogis alike. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a mat and a towel or blanket, plus blocks and a strap if you have them. Insect repellent and water are recommended.
Classes will meet on Wednesdays, July 14, 21 & 28 and August 4, 11, 18 & 25, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. Weather note: We’ll take our cues from nature. Marilyn will teach in a mist or drizzle, but class will be canceled for real rain events.
Cost: $12 per class for a 7-class pass ($84 total) or $15 per class drop-in rate
Instructor: Marilyn (Mer) Wyzga’s love of education, art, and movement intersect in nature. She’s danced on top of Mount Monadnock, created theater with kids in Robin Hood Park, and led Forest Bathing experiences with Susie Spikol throughout the region. After taking her first yoga class to fulfill a college gym credit, she eventually trained at Yandara Yoga Institute and continued exploring yoga with numerous passionate and skilled teachers. A certified Yoga for All instructor and Yoga Alliance registered teacher, Mer takes her inspiration from the Happy Buddha, bringing a lighthearted and playful approach to her classes.
Space is limited, and registration is required. Please register via this online form; we will follow up with a call or email to collect payment. For other questions or more information, contact Miles Stahmann at (603) 525-3394 or via email.
