The 33rd Annual MHS Walk for Animals
Celebrating a Year of Holidays!
Monadnock Humane Society is hosting the 33rd Annual Walk for Animals as an in-person event this year on Saturday, September 18th at the Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport. Be a part of this exciting event that raises critical funds for programs that help animals, as well as the people who love them. The day of program will feature a fun schedule of events – including Yappy Hour, a Vendor Village, a DJ with music, demonstrations, best holiday themed costume contests, a photo booth, and more! Walkers will take the traditional walk together on the airport road as we show our support in helping MHS make the world a more compassionate place for animals and people! NEW THIS YEAR: a 5K Runway Fun Run! Visit www.mhswalkforanimals.com for more details on this new event!
Get started now by registering, making a donation, and setting up a fundraising page at www.mhswalkforanimals.com. Then ask your friends, family, colleagues — anyone who loves animals — to support you by sponsoring your walk. Not only will every dollar you raise go directly to animals in need, but you'll also enjoy a t-shirt, contests, raffles, and prizes! Food and drinks will be available during the day from Mama McDonough’s restaurant.
Proceeds from the Walk for Animals goes towards the MHS mission and makes lifesaving differences for thousands of shelter animals each year. Community support makes it possible to provide pets in need with safe shelter, medical care, rescue and rehabilitation, boarding and daycare, training services, a pet food pantry, Animal Safety Net program, and most importantly, forever homes.
